At the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre Toby Keith is rolling in August 1, Maroon 5 with Counting Crows August 22, Brad Paisley August 23 and Martina McBride August 30. The Fist Midwest Bank Amphitheatre is an outdoors stadium in Tinley Park located in Chicago. It had over 400'000 total attendance last year. You might as well clear your calendar for these.
Melissa Etheridge will be jamming at the Chicago Theatre on August 7. The Chicago Theatre is as legendary as it is historic. It is over 80 years old. It has the look of a true 1920's metropolitan theatre. You have to be at this show.
Under the Charter One Pavilion the Music Builds Tour featuring Third Day and Switchfoot will be playing on August 23. The Charter One Pavilion seats around 7000 people. It is located on a man-made island formerly used as an airport. Amazingly, the pavilion is taken down every fall and stored during the winter. It is always a hot attraction. The sound systems used are loud and they jam. Don't miss out on this one.
In the House of Blues the teen throb and world famous rapper Bow Wow as Shad Moss will be raising the roof on August 24. The House of Blues is a sophisticated club. It has the best shows with no cover charge. The House is the place to go if you want the clubbing atmosphere but you don't feel like all the perks clubbing normally offers. It is a smoke free property and they have limits on bags and items you can bring in. Check out their website or call them before you go for all the rules and details.
At the Allstate Arena Enrique Iglesias and Aventura will perform on September 27. The Allstate Arena is just that, an arena. It is large, it is packed out and this show will be crazy-awesome. Bring as many people as you can. You don't want to miss it. The sound system will be loud and top notch. No matter where you are in the Arena you will enjoy the performance down to every note sung.
The great United Center will host two music legends. The Eagles will perform on September 24 and Madonna will be playing on October 26. If you don't plan to see any of the concerts mentioned but two, these two are it. They are or will be sold out by performance time. The United Center the home of the Chicago Bulls is a world class facility. If you have money to throw around there are plenty of seating options. Front stage or private seating is the way to go. These concerts will be the talk of all next year and be remembered for a lifetime. It will be very entertaining, loud, exciting, packed and emotional. You cannot miss these two concerts. Don't forget a date for this one!
