When a basketball player has great perimeter shooting skills, immense finishing ability, a perfect fundamental game, impressive transition play and speed to back their game up, it is not surprising that they would be considered in the 2008 NBA Draft. Chase Budinger has those previous strengths and an impressive resume as well. Chase Budinger is from Carlobad, California and has played college basketball for the University of Arizona.

Chase Budinger has numerous accomplishments that he has achieved throughout his high school and college basketball careers. First, Chase is a great athlete, not only a great basketball player. In high school, Chase Budinger was a star volleyball player as well. He was named the 2006 Mizano National Volleyball Player of the Year. He was also the co-most valuable player in the 2006 McDonald's All-American Basketball Game. In 2007 he was named the PAC-10 Freshman of the Year.

Chase Budinger is a great player but he is not perfect he does have some weaknesses in his game that are being noticed by NBA coaches, owners and managers. Chase's weaknesses include that he lacks a mid-range game, is poor at off the dribble shooting, often lacks strength, needs to develop more offensive creativity and has lacking ball-handling skills. Yet, these flaws in his game can all be improved upon and limited.

It is still early to be making predictions about the outcome of the 2008 NBA Draft but many sports and news sites have released their mock drafts. There is much discrepancy between the all of these lists on when in the draft Chase Budinger will be picked and to which team he will be drafted by. Collegehoopsnet.com believes that Chase Budinger will be No. 17 and will be drafted by the Toronto Raptors. While, NBC Sports has placed him as No. 28 and they think Chase Budinger will be going to the Hornets.
