2008 NFL Pro Bowl Rosters Announced; 31 First-Time Selections

Manning Brothers Are the First Brother Duo to Make the Pro Bowl

The 2009 NFL Pro Bowl rosters are out! This will mark the first year that two brothers (Eli and Payton Manning) play in the same pro-bowl! Overall there were 31 first-time selections. 17 from AFC teams and 14 from the NFC with four teams were left out on the selections this year though: The Bengals, Lions, Jags and Rams! The Jets had the most selections with seven while the Chargers dropped from nine and 11 the previous two years to only two selections this year. The following are the rosters for the AFC and NFC Teams for this year NFL Pro Bowl are listed below with the starters annotated with the * symbol:
