The St. Louis' annual Irish celebration dinner will be held the night before the parade, at 6:00 pm. It is an evening of dinner and entertainment honoring a visiting Irish dignitary and the Honorary Parade Marshal.
The formal evening consists of cocktails, dinner, dancing to the music of the Sh-Boom, and Irish entertainment by the St. Louis Irish Arts.
The Irish dinner will be held at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark, in Downtown St. Louis.
Reservations are $85 per person. The 2008 reservation form is not available yet.

Irish Breakfast - Saturday, March 15, 2008
From 8:30 - 11:00 am at St. Louis Bertrand's O'Brien Hall. There will be great food by the Toll Bridge Inn and entertainment by some of the McClanahan Irish Step-Dancers. Tickets are $7.50. If you have any questions you can call Bill Riley at 502-635-6367.
St. Patrick's Day Parade Run - Saturday, March 15, 2008
The 2008 Michelob Ultra St. Patrick's Day Parade Run will take place at 9:00 am. It is one of the largest events of its kind in the St. Louis area. The 5 mile run will travel the streets of Downtown and Midtown St. Louis.
The Run begins at 9th and Market Streets and will finish at Union Station. The check-in is at 8th and Market Streets, and opens at 7:30 am.
Run registrations can be completed online, by mail or in person.

Mailed registrations are not being taken at the moment. But you can check back soon at http://irishparade.org/run/registration.html or choose another method to register. It cost $18.50 to register by US mail.
In person for non-competitive runners only is $20. You can register at Rio Syrup Company, Inc., 2311 Chestnut Street, St. Louis, MO 63103 from March 3 to March 14 (10:00 am to 3:00 pm).
In person day of the event is $20 cash only. Register between 7:30 - 9:00 am at the corner of 8th and Market Streets.
Irish Village - Saturday, March 15, 2008
Opening at 8:30 am is the 2008 Irish Village. The Irish themed village features food and beverages from St. Louis restaurants. There will be Irish specialties and merchandise for sale, family activities and live music. It will be open before, during, and after the parade.
The Irish Village will be located in Kiener Plaza, in Downtown St. Louis.

St. Patrick's Day Parade - Saturday, March 15, 2008
This is the 39th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in St. Louis. The fun begins at 12:00 noon, in Downtown, St. Louis. The parade begins at 18th and Market Street, and will proceed east to end at Broadway and Market Streets.
The parade will have over 120 units, including marching bands, floats, huge balloons, 5000 + marchers, and lots of clowns.
Food and drinks will be sold at several locations along the parade route. Most of the booths will serve soft drinks, hot dogs, burgers, bratwurst, other snacks, and novelties.

Original St. Patrick's Day Parade - Monday, March 17, 2008
This event will take place in the streets of Dogtown which is one of the oldest Irish neighborhoods in St. Louis. The Ancient Order of Hibernians sponsors this parade. It will include family/clans, homemade and makeshift floats, floats on converted flat bed trucks, musical and dancing units and many walking units.
