There are some good pairs like Blake and Querrey, Nadal and Robredo, Mario Ancic and Ivan Ljubicic of Croatia and Igor Andreev and Nikolay Davydenko of Russia. But whether they can play well enough to compete with actual doubles teams is yet to be seen.
