For the AFC, I pick the Patriots.
Surprising, huh! I have good reasons, too. Not only do they play extremely well, but who is going to beat them? Sure two out of their last three games have been way too close for the teams they were playing, but they found ways to win. They've proven they can beat the top teams in the NFL (Dallas, Indy, Pittsburgh) and I can only imagine they will play harder come Playoff time. What stands out for me the most on New England's team in their receivers. Welker, Stallworth and let's not forget Moss make an unmatched trio that has trouble being stopped. If I had to pick one team during the AFC Playoffs that might cause trouble for the Patriots, it would be the Jags. Why? They have a very good quarterback and came so close to beating Indianapolis. If they play hard enough, they might be able to do some damage.
The NFC is completely different and more difficult to say. The hottest team right now besides the Cowboys is the Seahawks, having won five in a row. I predict the NFC Championship to be Seattle vs. Green Bay with Dallas crumbling early on. The Cowboys barely, and I mean barely beat Detroit and have had plenty of games that were way too close. If Seattle plays Green Bay, I think (not 100% certain) that it will be at Lambeau Field. Good luck playing there, Seattle. It's not called the frozen tundra for nothing and you know those crazy Green Bay fans will pack that stadium.
I think Green Bay will win the NFC Championship and play New England in the Super Bowl. It's really tough to say who will win. My gut says New England, but I know Green Bay won't go down without a fight. Final score: New England 27, Green Bay 21.
Now, I do enjoy football, but I am clearly not an expert. I can't really see New England losing, especially in the Playoffs. Although I am an Eagle's Fan, if I had to pick another team from the NFC I'd like to see win it all, it would be Green Bay. Another Super Bowl ring would be nice for Brett Favre. Even so, it looks like the Patriots will be crowned champions.

Post a CommentTHAT SUCKS I THINK THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS ARE GOING TO WIN THIS YEAR AND I THINK THAT THE dallas cowboys ARE GOING TO BE CREAMED
thanks for the comments everyone! i was close, too! almost had it called!
These are solid predictions. Nice job.
Dallas will beat Green Bay just because they're at home. Favre has never won in Texas Stadium.
look at how well the bucs played the giants its called turnovers not injuries
Go Pack, but I honestly don't think anyone should be overlooked. Yeah, Dallas has been playing poorly, but I think people react too much to injuries. Overlooking Dallas would be a bad thing to do, as well as overlooking TB.
my Broncos suk this year so I will be rooting for the Chargers and Packers :)
