The Queen City is full of charm, especially during the holiday season. Whether you are looking for a party, a concert, fireworks, or another activity, you are sure to find something fun to do on December 31 in Cincinnati. This is a short list of events, but you can check out a variety of parties and kid-friendly events at Cincinnati.com or through City Beat.

New Year's Eve at Fountain Square (downtown)

December 31, 2008, free ice skating starting at 8:00 pm

Our own little version of Rockefeller Center, Fountain Square is one of the most lovely and lively attractions in the area. In September, this is where we celebrate Oktoberfest. In the winter, including New Year's Eve, this is where we can ice skate and enjoy the snow. On New Year's Eve, guests can enjoy free ice skating, music, the countdown shown on a big screen, and fireworks.
