2008-2009 NCAA College Football Bowl Schedule

Final NCAA Football Bowl Lineups Announced; Bowl Season Kicks Off December 20th

In case you were not around a television or the Internet this afternoon, the final 2008 - 2009 NCAA Football bowl schedule has been released. Before reading any further, if you know that your team is going bowling and intend on going but don't have tickets, search to the portion of the article of where your team appears and click on the link to the sponsored bowl's website to see if there are any left. Many of the bowls will sell out quick which will put those who like to plan late behind the power curve trying to find tickets.

Now, that part is down. This article lays out in chronological order the NCAA bowl schedule from earliest to latest culminating with the BCS National title game. Also provided are the two teams playing, city, stadium, and television network the game is on. Next week we will begin with our bowl previews and predictions for the first half of the bowl schedule.

**Note for those that haven't paid attention to changes in the BCS format. Two years ago, the BCS championship ceases rotating across the Fiesta, Sugar, Rose, and Orange bowls, and instead started being a second bowl game played at those sites. So, in case you were wondering this is why there are two games at the Orange Bowl this year! Next year the BCS National Championship will be at the Rose bowl. For the folks starting to think about who they are going to pick to win this game now...the SEC is 4-0 in BCS National Championship games, the Big 12...2-3.
