2009 Best Holiday Video Games for the Whole Family

Who says that video games are just for kids and teenagers? That statement might be true some years ago but not anymore. As different game consoles hit the shelves in almost every store imaginable, so do the fun and exciting video games for one and all to play and explore. Most of the popular consoles are Microsoft Xbox, Sony Playstation 3, and Nintendo Wii. I prefer the Nintendo Wii game console because my kids and my wife love the games that are made for it. We have so many favorites but let me just name a few that we really enjoy playing: Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, Wii Family Feud 2010 Edition, Wii Fit Plus Bundle, Wii Punch-Out, and Wii Reel Fishing (Angler's Dream).

Wii Sports - This video game provides fun for everyone. It offers five entertaining sports experiences: Tennis, Baseball, Golf, Bowling, and Boxing. You will never get bored of Wii Sports because of its games variety and of course, it also features multi-player mode wherein you can play against your kids and your spouse for bragging rights such as the best tennis player, most excellent bowler, most accurate ball hitter, and many more.

Wii Sports Resort - This video game goes up a few notches higher than the original Wii Sports as it offers a dozen activities to choose from: Archery, Frisbee®, Basketball, Cycling, Canoeing, Power Cruising, Table Tennis, Air Sports, Bowling, Swordplay, Golf, and Wakeboarding. With this game, everyone can have fun and add to it the unique experience of using the Wii MotionPlus accessory, which bring players much closer to the physical reality of playing the actual sports.

Wii Family Feud 2010 Edition - I'm sure everyone remembers this game. Well, Wii has it too and it's indeed a surefire hit for the family. The competition just got tougher as there are 1,000 survey topics available for play. Pick your group and let's start the feud!

Wii Fit Plus Bundle - If all your family members love to work out, this is the best game choice for you. Millions of new players have chosen to purchase this game and now, it even comes with the Wii Balance Board accessory, which adds more fun and excitement to the experience of every player.

Wii Punch-Out - Boxing is the name of the game! Nintendo Wii has many more games to choose from but these are my favorites. Go ahead and make them yours, too. Surely, you will never get tired of playing these games once you get a hold of them. Bring out the child in you this holiday season with Nintendo games.
