Who Will Win This Key Second-round Big Ten Tournament Matchup Between the Badgers and Buckeyes?

The hit Big Ten Tournament game already determined for the Quarterfinals round is the game between the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Wisconsin Badgers. Both of these teams had fantastic years in 2009.

Ohio State is led by their star guard-forward Evan Turner. He averages 16.8 points per game, and leads the team in almost every major offensive category. William Buford, a freshman out of Toledo, Ohio, adds a solid scoring and rebounding force. In addition, BJ Mullens mans the inside for the Buckeyes, and the prized recruit averages nine points and about five rebounds per game.

OSU is 20-9 on the season and is on a two-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, the Wisconsin Badgers have an extremely well-rounded lineup, led by forward Marcus Landry and guard Trevon Hughes. The Badgers have four players who average more than 8.8 points per game, and any player from their starting lineup is poised to step up in a big way for the team any given night.

Essentially, this matchup will be completely based on how well Evan Turner can perform for the Buckeyes. If he brings his A-game and leads the Buckeyes in scoring, the Buckeyes will move on to the next round. However, I believe Wisconsin's lineup is too deep for the Buckeyes, and they should come away with the victory in this one.

WINNER: Wisconsin Badgers
