What: S Factor, a company featuring workout classes centered around yoga, Pilates, ballet and other strengthening activities, is hosting the S Factor Event for Women Touch by Breast Cancer, a free workout class focusing on healing.

2. Susan G. Komen Marathon for the Cure, Team Chicago
What: To raise breast cancer awareness and raise funds for a cure, partake in a 26.2 mile marathon through Chicago.

Cost: Registration: $50, Fundraising Commitment: $2,200 (without race entry) $1,500 (with race entry)
3. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
What: Come and participate in a 3-5 mile walk hosted by The American Cancer Society to raise awareness for breast cancer and funds to cure breast cancer. Walks are held in 9 cities and areas around the Chicagoland area.
When: Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18
Where: Saturday - Belleville, Champaign-Urbana, and Rockford Sunday - Aurora, Chicago, Lake County, Northwest Surburban, South Surburban, and Springfield
For Who: Everybody
Cost: Donations are encouraged
What: A 5K walk held by the City of Hope, a cancer center, to fight breast cancer and raise money for research, treatment, and education.

5. Breast Cancer Wellness - Nutrition Class
What: Northwest Memorial Hospital is holding a free series of classes about staying healthy when you have breast cancer. The nutrition class is the first in a four-part series.
When: Tuesday, September 29, 12-1 p.m.
Tuesday, October 27, 12-1 p.m.
Tuesday, November 24, 12-1 p.m.
Where: Wellness Institute, 150 E. Huron, Chicago, Illinois
For Who: Breast cancer patients
