2009 Christmas Events in Jonesboro, Arkansas

Jonesboro's Jingle Bell/Walk for Arthritis will be held on Tuesday, November 17. The location is in the St. Bernard's Auditorium. This is a fun way to begin celebrating the holiday season while helping others as well. Wear a holiday themed costume and join in the fun by walking a 2 mile route with your team members and celebrate the season for giving.

From now until November 21 2009, Furniture & Appliances Now is offering the chance to win $100 cash for donated food items. Furniture & Appliances Now is located in Jonesboro, Pocahontas, Paragould, Trumann, Walnut Ridge, Newport, and Batesville. Every item you bring to the food drive increases your chances at winning the $100 prize.

December 4-6, 2009 brings Mistletoe Madness. Enjoy a fantastic Christmas shopping experience in the previous Steinmart store. Located at 2016 S. Caraway admission is $15. Friday hours are 6p.m.-9 p.m. A wine and cheese tasting with exclusive shopping are available during these hours. On Saturday the hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission is $7 per person with milk and cookies with Santa available for $15 at 2:00 p.m. Photos with Santa will be available as well. On Sunday the store will be open from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. with admission price being $7. A two day pass for Saturday and Sunday is $10.

The 61st annual Northeast Arkansas Christmas parade will be held on December 3, 2009 in downtown Jonesboro. The theme is "Christmas Through a Child's Eyes". The parade begins at 7 p.m.
