2009 Christmas Parades: Myrtle Beach Area
Horry County: Conway, Murrells Inlet, North Myrtle Beach & Surfside Beach
Murrells Inlet: On Sunday, December 6th, Murrells Inlet will be rolling Santa down Business 17. The festivities start at 3 p.m. and it doesn't stop at the last float (or boat!). After the parade Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be hanging out at Morse Park for the bonfire and tree lighting ceremony. This event is sure to be a hit with the whole family. North Myrtle Beach: This year the annual North Myrtle Beach Christmas parade is scheduled for Saturday, December 5th at 5:30 p.m. The town plans their annual event tp be held at night to offer "a unique holiday experience." Take the family along to enjoy the sparkling display Christmas light floats. Park your seats at just about any spot along Main St. for a perfect view of the parade.
Surfside Beach: You'll catch Santa and his crew travelling down Ocean Blvd in Surfside Beach this year. Conway: The Conway Chambre of Commerce has a lot to live up to. With reports of the town having the "longest and most entertaining" parade in all of Horry county, Conway's Christmas parade is sure to please.
