There are several spots to hit this holiday season to soak in all of the Christmas spirit you can hold. One of the things that marks the true joy of the season is a good Christmas parade. So pack up the family and wear something warm because it's time to greet Santa!

Murrells Inlet: On Sunday, December 6th, Murrells Inlet will be rolling Santa down Business 17. The festivities start at 3 p.m. and it doesn't stop at the last float (or boat!). After the parade Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be hanging out at Morse Park for the bonfire and tree lighting ceremony. This event is sure to be a hit with the whole family. Check in here for more information to help plan your night!

North Myrtle Beach: This year the annual North Myrtle Beach Christmas parade is scheduled for Saturday, December 5th at 5:30 p.m. The town plans their annual event tp be held at night to offer "a unique holiday experience." Take the family along to enjoy the sparkling display Christmas light floats. Park your seats at just about any spot along Main St. for a perfect view of the parade.

Surfside Beach: You'll catch Santa and his crew travelling down Ocean Blvd in Surfside Beach this year. The parade will take place on Saturday, December 12th at 2 p.m. Come join the crowd and enjoy the festive floats beach-side! For more 2009 holiday events in Surfside Beach head over to the town site.

And last, but certainly not least...

Conway: The Conway Chambre of Commerce has a lot to live up to. With reports of the town having the "longest and most entertaining" parade in all of Horry county, Conway's Christmas parade is sure to please. There will be plenty of spots to sit and watch all of the holiday cheer that's packed into this event. Head over to the Conway Journal for insider tips on parking and viewing hot-spots.

No matter which 2009 Christmas parade you plan to attend, you're sure to have loads of fun in the Myrtle Beach area this holiday season.
