A Guide to Planning Your Game-Day Festivities in Provo, Utah
If you decide to travel to Provo to see this great college football match-up, you'll find that there is plenty to do besides just watching the game. The BYU campus is located in a beautifully scenic area and you'll enjoy exploring the area before the game. The home for BYU Cougar football is Lavell Edwards Stadium, located just north of the BYU campus, close to many restaurants and hotels.
There are many great restaurants in the Provo area. If you're in the mood for pizza, you'll definitely want to try Brick Oven. This delicious pizza and pasta restaurant is located right across the street from BYU campus at 111 E 800 N in Provo. This restaurant gets pretty crowded on game days, but the wait is definitely worth it.
Downtown Provo is also full of great restaurant choices for your game day festivities. There are plenty of options on Provo's Center Street, located just a few blocks south of BYU campus. If you like Mexican food, try the Provo classic, Los Hermanos, located at 16 W Center St. If you'd like to try some Indian food, India Palace is a great choice, and is located at 98 W Center St. You'll also love the Italian restaurant, Ottavios, located at 77 E Center St.
If you're planning an overnight stay in Provo, there are plenty of hotel choices to accommodate you. One of the nicest and closest to BYU's football stadium is the Courtyard by Marriott, located at 1600 N Freedom Blvd. Reservations can be made by calling 801-373-2222. There are also two other Marriott hotels located in Provo. The Marriott Hotel & Conference Center is located at 101 W 100 N and can be reached at 801-377-4700. The Residence Inn is located at 252 W 2230 N in Provo and can be reached at 801-374-1000. Both hotels are only a few minutes drive from BYU's stadium and campus.
