Are you interested in trying out for the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders? If so, this article contains important information regarding the times, dates, and other details of the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders 2009 auditions.

The preliminary auditions for the Denver Broncos cheerleading squad take place on April 19, 2009. All those interested in joining the squad need to register at 11am. Preliminary auditions will begin at noon, and all participants will be taught an "Across the Floor," routine, which consists of four eight counts including a split leap, a left and a right kick, and a turn with the option of the turn being a single, double, or triple. The routine will be performed in groups of threes and 100 participants will be selected to go on to the second half of the day.

Round two of the auditions will take place later the same day. The 100 selected participants will be taught a typical Denver Broncos Cheerleaders routine consisting of approximately 10 eight counts (one minute in length). The routine will be run through several times before the participants will be asked to perform the routine in front of the judges in groups of threes. Approximately 60 participants will be chosen to go on to the next round of auditions.

The group of 60 people will be divided into two groups of participants who will participate in either the Tuesday nights or Thursday nights finalist workshops. The Tuesday nights finalist workshops will take place on April 21 and 28 and the Thursday nights finalist workshops will be held on April 23 and 30. At the workshops, the judges will be looking at flexibility, turns, kicks, and across the floor technique. Participants will also be taught routines, which will be performed at the finals on Saturday May 2.

All participants should wear a black spandex workout top and black spandex shorts to the finalist workshops. Participants may wear nylons under theirs shorts if they desire. Dance shoes are also recommended instead of tennis shoes for the workshops. The finalist workshops will be held in the cheerleader rehearsal room at the stadium.

Finally, on May 2, 2009 at 6pm the final round of auditions will be held for the Denver Broncos cheerleading squad. These auditions will be open to the public and will take place at the University of Denver Davis Auditorium. More information about the final round of auditions will be provided at the preliminary auditions for the squad on April 19.

If you would like to audition to become a Denver Broncos Cheerleader, you will need to print out an application form, fill it out, and bring it with you when you go to the preliminary auditions.

The workshop will be held from 9am-noon on Saturday April 4, 2009. The audition workshop will be held in the cheerleader locker room and rehearsal room at INVESCO Field. Participants should wear athletic clothes and dance shoes and bring their own snack and water if they need it.
