2009, the Discovery of Writing Online

Nonar21
In mid February, I discovered Ehow. I was searching for how to do something. I was reading an article when I noticed that they had an article about making money with Ehow. I decided to look into it further. I noticed that many of the contributors were actually stating that they were making money. This is not the first time I read about people making money online, but it was the first time I had heard about writing online.

I signed up for Ehow in March. I wrote four articles in March and one in April. I did receive payout by April, but did not think much of it. Well when I received a second payout in July from Ehow without doing any extra work, I decided I needed to pay more attention to the site.

I wrote 4 more Articles for Ehow in July, but I also discovered another site Associated Content. Associated Content worked a little differently then Ehow, but I decided to try the site. I only published a couple of articles when I first began with AC. I did not put my all into it until I learned about the upfront payments. To know that I had the possibility of receiving payment within a few days of writing my articles helped me stay focused.

By the end of August, I had 28 articles on Ehow and 52 on AC. That was a lot of work in the beginning. I was bringing in a little extra money, but I was doing it from my own home. I saw writing as a potential income for me.

I was actually hurt at work on August 22nd, so I was home more. I did return to work for a few weeks, but the doctors decided to pull me off until I healed. In turn, I have lost my job, and cannot go to work somewhere else since being that I still have problems with the injury, so writing has been my main source for an income. My 2009 discovery of online writing has given me a small additional income, and kept my family from being completely broke. I am thankful for it.

I currently have over 300 articles on ehow, over 200 on AC, and about 75 on Bukisa. I actually slacked off a lot during the 2009 Holiday season, but they are almost over. 2010 is coming next week, and I see a lot coming from my writing. I will probably look for a part time job, but I am going to make my writing a full time income by mid 2010.

I hope you all had a great 2009-writing year, and I wish you all the best for 2010.
