What makes this great is the old mix and match methodology that can transform just a few outfits into literally dozens and in today's economy that's a blessing. Below you'll find a fashion slideshow that will hopefully give you some ideas of where Fall 2009 is headed. Notice the accessories because this year they are really in, from hats, gloves, scarves and the like.
Whoever you are you can let the real you out this Fall with fashions that range from casual to cunningly seductive with or without the heavy price tag.
Women, it's time to show off your true female side and still get the jobs of everyday living done. Whether at the workplace, on the road or just kicking it with friends, now's the time to buy those sweaters, tights and belts that can easily adapt to your summer wardrobe so that you can spend more money on the winter and holiday necessities.
Now is also the time to think about that high fashion item you'll want to wear to holiday events, whether charity or business, investing in a great dress or suit with timeless fashion is the way to go. Spend your trend dollars at vintage stores, consignment shops and those wonderful stores that serve us so well, like Target and Forever 21.
A Summary of Must Have Trends for Fall 2009
Do treat your self to a multi-stranded necklace or big bobble necklace. These will perk up even last years clothes and give them an all new look.
Do invest in some tights, black seems to be the way to go- along with black shoes and bright fall color dresses with high heels or pumps.
Do invest in a great belt.
And if you're really daring- a faux fur or knit sleeveless jacket
Just like ya gotta have friends- You must have at least two pair of great jeans, it's getting cold girls and some of us don't always get a chance to shave our legs as much as we'd like. If your jeans have had it or you've lost or gained weight, buy some new jeans. This year it doesn't seem important what brand you buy just as long as they fit well, not to big and definitely not too small. If your belly muffin tops even in the most expensive jeans it's just not going to bode well this season.
