Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical is playing until January 3rd at The Pantages Theatre in Hollywood. In its Los Angeles debut, the musical features John Larroquette (Night Court, Boston Legal) as Old Max. Tickets run from $23 - $90.

Bob Baker's Holiday Spectacular runs until January 10th at Bob Baker Marionette Theatre. This Christmas puppet show includes Santa Claus and his reindeer and Elvis. Performance schedule is Tuesday - Friday at 10:30 a.m. and Saturday - Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and children.

Rockapella presents "A Rockapella Holiday" on Sunday, December 6th at 7 p.m. at Pepperdine University. This popular acapella group, which has appeared in Folgers commercials and on the tv show Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?, shares their take on Christmas classics as well as new songs. Holiday Films

The Los Angeles Conservancy presents the 1947 holiday classic It's a Wonderful Life starring James Stewart and Donna Reed on Sunday, December 6th at 2 p.m. at the historic Million Dollar Theatre, built in 1918. Disney's new version of A Christmas Carol starring Jim Carrey screens at the El Capitan Theatre until January 3rd. Before the film, see the all-new Disney's Holiday Spectacular and after, visit an exhibit featuring a behind the scenes look at the making of the film including costumes and concept art. Tickets are $16 for adults and $14 for children and seniors. VIP tickets are available for $26.

Ice Skating in Southern California

Pershing Square hosts "Downtown on Ice," Los Angeles' largest outdoor ice skating rink, for the 12th year. The rink will be open Thursday, November 19 through Monday, January 18 and will feature a free concert series. They will also hold a holiday festival on December 12 to 13 with a snow zone for sledding and snow play. Admission is $6 and skate rental is $2.

Seaside Ice at Seaside Lagoon is open daily now until January 18. In its second year, Seaside Ice will present live music nights and a winter festival. Admission prices include skate rental and are $14 for adults and $12 for children 12 and under.
