2009 Mid-Year Video Game Awards

We are officially half way through the 2009 year and it's time to give out some mid-year awards in the wonderful world of gaming. Although the second half of 09' promises to be the better half we still had some great games thus far. In the mix we have some incredible sports games, two of the best open world games ever, and a few updated fighters. Let me point out that I am only one man. I cannot physically play every game as I must work and do social things in the outside world. Saying this, I have played almost all of the top games for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this year. No, I do not play Wii because I am neither an 8 year old boy nor a middle aged woman. I am a core gamer who plays the big boy games, thus I have made this list, enjoy.
