2009 NASCAR's Nationwide Top 10 Point Earners

The 2009 NACAR Nationwide Series is well underway. Here is the points standings after the first ten races. It is still a close race between Kyle Busch and Carl Edwards.

1. Kyle Busch currently is the leader with 1539 points. He has started all 10 races so far and won 3 of them. He has won over $399,775 so far this season.

2. Carl Edwards is in second with 1502 points. He has also started all 10 races but has no wins yet. He does have seven top 5 finishes though.

3. Jason Leffler is in third with 1386 points. He started all 10 races, has 0 wins and seven top 10 finishes.

4. Joey Lagano is in fourth with 1340 points, he has only started nine of the 10 races. He does have one win and six top 10 finishes under his belt.

5. Brad Keselowski is holding fifth with 1331 points. Brad has five top 10 finishes. He is 208 points behind Kyle Busch.

6. Jason Keller is in sixth position with 1181 points, he has started all 10 races, but only has three top 10 finishes.

7. David Ragen is in seventh position with 1139. David is doing good for only starting eight of the races so to date. He has claimed one win and three top 5 finishes.

8. Scott lagasse Jr. is at 8th position with 1095 points, he only has three top 10 finishes.

9. Justin Allgaier is in ninth with 1089 points, he has five top 10 finishes.

10. Steve Wallace in holding tenth position with 1008 points, he has three top 10 finishes and is 451 points behind Kyle.

The next race is Saturday May 23rd at the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte. It is a 1.5 mile quad oval shape track.
