First up on my list of hotels is the Crowne Plaza Phoenix. The hotel is located only 10 miles from the US Airways Center in the Northern section of the city. The hotel offers an on premise restaurant, La Cocina, with some nice options prior to the big game, or come to the lively bar, 99 degrees, after the game. If you have a AAA membership, you rare eligible to receive a discount on your hotel stay, mention it while making your reservations. If you want to make your online reservations visit www.cpphoenix.com.
Next up on my list is the Ticket Pros USA package which includes accommodations for a three night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Airport, daily breakfast and tickets to the NBA All Star Game. Also included is a rental car. For two days., just enough time to get take in a few sites. I have used Ticket Pros USA for other sporting packages and it is truly a one stop shop and much more affordable when traveling with family. For more information visit www.ticketprosusa.com.
Another luxury alternative for hotel/resort accommodations is the Fairmont Gold located in Scottsdale Arizona. This resort has many packages to choose from the romantic bed and breakfast, to sporty golf packages to a relaxing Spa getaway. Enjoy the 2009 NBA All Star Game and extend your stay and relax at this AAA 5 diamond resort. It is absolutely gorgeous. If you would like further information visit www.fairmont.com.
My final recommendation is the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown. This hotel is located very close to the Phoenix Convention Center and within minutes to the airport. The hotel has restaurants, and is close to shopping and other dining options as well the wonderful night life. Considering that the game is on Valentine's Day weekend, it is sure to be a very busy city with many visitors in the area.
Anyone of these hotels are sure to fit you budget and or lifestyle. So pack up the family or make it a couples weekend get away and go enjoy the All Star Game and sneak in a bit of relaxation with your Valentine.
