2009 NFL Football Schedule - Dallas Cowboys - Preseason Games
August 13th - at the Oakland Raiders - 9PM EST
August 21st - Tennessee Titans - 7PM EST
August 29th - San Francisco 49ers - 7PM EST
September 4th - at the Minnesota Vikings - TBA
2009 NFL Football Schedule - Dallas Cowboys - Weeks 1 - 8
September 13th - at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers - 1200 EST
Tampa Bay is coming into the season with new leadership, Raheem Morris (Head Coach) and Jim Bates (Defensive Coordinator). Should be a good warm-up game for Tony Romo and company!
September 20th - New York Giants - 715PM EST
Dallas's season opener at home. The first true test of the season for the Cowboys and should indicate how the rest of the season is going to turn out.
September 28th (Monday) - Carolina Panthers - 730 PM EST
Unless Dallas does something drastic this preseason to improve their defense against the run, they could be in trouble in this game with DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart running the ball for the Panthers.
October 4th - at the Denver Broncos - 315 PM EST
The Bronco's may be in trouble in this game since Jay Cutler is gone. This will be the first game that Denver's new coach, Josh McDaniels will coach against the Cowboys.
October 11th - at the Kansas City Chiefs - 1200 EST
Dallas will be looking to roll over the Chiefs before heading into their bye week.
October 18th - BYE
October 25th - Atlanta Falcons - 315 PM EST
This game is going to come down to who leads their team more efficiently, Sophomore quarterback Matt Ryan, or the more established Tony Romo!
November 1st - Seattle Seahawks - 1200 EST
Seattle has a new quarterback with Matt Hasselback. If they can pick-up a star receiver like Michael Crabtree, they may very well be tough to handle.
2009 NFL Football Schedule - Dallas Cowboys - Weeks 8-17
November 8th - at the Philadelphia Eagles - 715 PM EST
The Cowboy's last trip to Philly resulted in a 44-6 beating! Expect Romo and company to be more competitive this year, though they sill may lose the game.
November 15th - at the Green Bay Packers - 315 PM EST
Dallas will be going for their second win ever at Lambeau Field this year. Last year was the first. The Packers are still trying to make their way without Brett Farve!
November 22nd - Washington Redskins - 1200 EST
Washington was 10-26 against Dallas in their old stadium. They will be looking to get off to a better start in the new Cowboy's stadium.
November 26th - Oakland Raiders - 315 PM EST
This will be Oakland's first Thanksgiving game and first at Dallas since 1998.
December 6th - at the New York Giants - 315 PM EST
Eli Manning has been a 'Cowboy Killer' at home with 10 TD passes and wins in 3 of the last 5 games at home.
December 13th - San Diego Chargers - 315 PM EST
If San Diego gets off to the right foot, this very possibly could be a preview of the Super Bowl!
December 19th (Sat) - at the New Orleans Saints - 715 PM EST
The Saints do not have issues scoring with Drew Bees at QB. Bees threw for over 5,000 yards in 2008. They do need a defense, however, and might find themselves on the short end of this game.
December 27th - at the Washington Redskins - 715 PM EST
This game very likely will have playoff impact for one or both of these teams.
January 3rd - Philadelphia Eagles - 1200 EST
The Eagles won 7 of their last 10 games played at Dallas. The Cowboys will have to stop Donovan McNabb in order to close out their first season in the new stadium on a high note.
