2009 NFL Week 13 Fantasy Football Predictions and Projections

Chris Houston
It's time for my 2009 NFL Week 13 Fantasy Football predictions and projections. As usual we will start with the quarterbacks. Which quarterbacks will are projected high for fantasy football during the 2009 NFL Week 13 schedule?

Jay Cutler is a no brainer against St. Louis at home. Cutler has been a fantasy football dud for the most part in 2009. This 2009 NFL Week 13 Fantasy Football game could be his best of the season if the Bears don't build such a big lead they quit passing. Look for Jay Cutler to be one of the big performers of the 2009 NFL Week 13 Fantasy Football schedule. 345 yards and 4 touchdowns for Cutler in the win.

Other 2009 NFL Week 13 Fantasy Football projections and predictions for the quarterback position? Peyton Manning could have a slow day against red hot Tennessee. For Peyton, a slow day means 243 yards passing and just 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. Tom Brady could put up a monster day in Miami if the Dolphins have a lead or keep the game close. Look for Brady to have 3-4 touchdown passes and 320 yards or more.

My other 2009 NFL Week 13 Fantasy Football projections for quarterbacks? Drew Brees should be fine in Washington with 3 touchdowns and 278 yards in the air. Carson Palmer should put up decent numbers but the running game might get more reps late in a blowout. Palmer with 2 touchdowns and 215 yards passing. Philip Rivers should be a 2-3 touchdown performer with 267 yards or more. Donovan McNabb might throw 2 interceptions but his touchdowns should keep pace with those numbers in Atlanta. Look for McNabb to also throw for 245 yards or more. Matt Schaub could struggle in Jacksonville but look for 205 yards and 2 touchdowns and 1 interception.

Guys I don't like for big fantasy football weekends during the 2009 NFL Week 13 schedule? Aaron Rodgers will find the going tough against Baltimore. Look for 195 yards, 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions in a defensive battle. Joe Flacco won't fare well against Green Bay either with 165 yards 0 TD's and 2 interceptions.

Let's move on to my 2009 NFL Week 13 Fantasy Football projections and predictions for running backs.
Matt Forte could top the 100 yard mark with 109 yards and 1 touchdown for the Bears against St. Louis. Ryan Grant could catch for 50 yards and 1 touchdown and rush for 67 yards in a battle against the Ravens. I like Beanie Well against Minnesota. Wells runs for 89 yards and 2 scores in a coming out party for the rookie. Just hold onto the ball Beanie for fantasy football owners everywhere. Joseph Addai can get 2 touchdowns and 86 yards rushing against the Titans. Maurice Jones Drew gets 123 yards and 2 touchdowns against the visiting Texans. Rashard Mendenhall will put up 110 yards and 2 scores for the Steelers.

Who I don't like? Chris Johnson will be contained to just 75 yards or less and 1 touchdown against the Colts. Knowshon Moreno could struggle in Kansas City believe it or not with just 67 yards and 1 score or less.

On to my 2009 NFL Week 13 fantasy football projections and predictions for receivers. Reggie Wayne is tough against the Titans secondary and watch for him to burn former Colt Nick Harper on a couple of occasions. Wayne gets 113 yards and at least 1 touchdown. Sidney Rice will be the go to guy in a high scoring affair for the Vikings in Arizona. Watch for Rice to get 98 yards and 2 touchdowns. I like Hines Ward to get 86 yards and 1 touchdown against the visiting Raiders. Devin Hester goes for his biggest game of the year with 2 touchdowns and 113 yards.

Who do I not project to have big fantasy football games for week 13 of the 2009 NFL season?
Down games for Donald Driver of Green Bay, Steve Smith of Carolina and Andre Johnson of Houston.

My 2009 NFL Week 13 Fantasy Football projections and predictions for defenses? Start Pittsburgh, Chicago, Cincinnati, Carolina and San Diego. Defenses that could get torched? Washington, Miami, Houston, Detroit and St. Louis.

That's it for my 2009 NFL Week 13 Fantasy Football projections and predictions. We'll be back with another edition for week 14 of the 2009 NFL season.
