Another great match in week 4 of the 2009 NFL season features the New England Patriots hosting Baltimore. The Ravens defense has looked Super Bowl'ish. The Pats have struggled a bit but perhaps the Jets have put some legitimacy into that one loss with their 3-0 start. Tom Brady doesn't set the world on fire in week 4 but it's good enough to lead the Patriots to a 16-13 win over Baltimore.
My other NFL predictions and picks for week 4? Chicago puts Detroit back to reality with a 33-10 win at Soldier Field. Cincinnati figures out a way to lose at winless Cleveland 21-20. Indianapolis takes advantage of visiting Seattle to go 4-0 with a 31-9 victory. The Giants win easy at Kansas City like everyone else does 28-13.
The NFL predictions and picks for 2009 Week 4 also features a game not many want to watch. Washington hosts Tampa Bay in a battle of two coaches who just may be fighting for their jobs. While my prediction is it won't be good television, it could possibly mark the end of the Jim Zorn era with a Redskins loss. My guess is it won't happen in week 4 as Washington wins 23-17.
Tennessee is in desperate win of win number one in week 4 at Jacksonville. The Titans should win at the Jags and my prediction is Tennessee rolls 27-10. Houston and Oakland looks to be a bit closer this year now that the Raiders are a little more respectable. Notice I said a little. Houston still wins but it's not the blowout we would have seen last year. Texans 31-20.
Other 2009 Week 4 NFL predictions and picks? Miami edges Buffalo 16-13, San Francisco struggles but downs St. Louis 13-10. Dallas wins at Denver 28-20. Pittsburgh bounces back by beating San Diego 27-24.
And on Monday night, Green Bay travels to Minnesota where the Packers line up against Brett Favre. Adrian Peterson runs wild and makes the story about the NFL's best running back and the Vikings beat the Packers 34-23.
That's all for the 2009 Week 4 NFL picks and predictions. I'll have another set of predictions ready to go next Monday night for week 5.
