2009 Pre-Super Bowl XLIII Events in Tampa Bay

Planning to head to Tampa Bay for Super Bowl XLIII? If you have ever been to a Super Bowl ever in your life you will know that the Super Bowl is an extraordinary event put on by the NFL and the cities that host them. Days before the big game the host city comes alive with events to entertain you for the ultimate football experience. Here are some of the hottest events scheduled to take place in Tampa, FL.

NFL Experience

This Super Bowl XLIII event is located Adjacent to the Raymond James Stadium. The NFL Experience has over 50 interactive games and attractions for the entire family that include football clinics, autograph sessions and chats with coaches. Admission is $18.50 for Adults and $12.50 for children 12 and younger. The NFL Experience is from Jan 25 & 29 - 31.

Wanting to feel the history of the NFL? This event put on by the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts located at 200 N. Tampa St., Ste. 130, Tampa, FL 33602, has placed on display many photographs from the extensive Getty archives from the history of the NFL. Cost of admission is $4.00 at the door.

Taste of the NFL

Want to sample cuisine from each of the NFL team's home city? This Super Bowl XLIII event on Jan. 31 will join chefs and NFL players, past and present to cook up some hometown cuisine and fun. Guests will be able to taste samples and have opportunities for autographs from some of NFL's greats. This event will be located at Tropicana Field, One Tropicana Dr., St. Petersburg, FL 33705. Tickets range in price from $500.00 - $6,000.00.

Super Bowl Breakfast

If you are unable to attend the Taste of the NFL, then perhaps you can make it to this Super Bowl XLIII event on Jan 31. Taking place at the Sun Dome, University of South Florida, 4202 E. Fowler Ave, Tampa, FL 33620 will feature NFL greats like Bart Starr, Tony Dungy, Derrik Brooks and other NFL athletes and coaches. Here they will also present the Bart Starr Award. Admission is just $20.00.
