2009 SP Authentic Baseball Hobby Box Review

This is the 2009 SP Authentic baseball hobby box. This box was purchased from BlowOutCards.com. BlowOutCards.com is currently out of this product but you can purchase it from www.dacardworld.com. These packs were opened by column starting from the left and going to the right. Filler cards are just cardboard cards to prevent people from picking out the packs with hits, so I included them in each pack summary.

I would say this was a pretty good box break of 2009 SP Authentic. Even thought the two patch cards and the autograph were not the biggest names in baseball, it was still a nice break. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of inserts and numbered cards. I think that SP Authentic really stepped up their product with those inserts this time. Another good part was that there are not any doubles! In many box breaks there are multiple doubles but it was nice to see something new in every pack. It was a little bit sad that I had two hits in one column because it was not as much fun going through the third column.

The design was nice and clean. I liked the pictures that they used for the 2009 product. It is a really nice looking set for any set-builders out there. Also, with the various inserts and variations would make it a fun set to do. Good luck if you dcide to purchase your own box of 2009 SP Authentic!
