2010 American Music Awards hairstyles and fashions were quite rockin this time around. Usually I don't get the chance to watch these shows anymore having three small kids, but they happened to fall asleep early, which was great for me. As we all know Taylor has naturally curly hair, so this new look was created by using a blowdryer and flat iron to make it completely straight. Then the blunt bangs were created of course using scissors, and the array of highlights were either created using foils, cap process, or another coloring technique. This style can work on any texture of hair. To achieve the color I would go for a honey blonde base, and lowlights and highlights of a soft vanilla color and wheat color. In the front area make sure to go bold and heavy, and then subtle throughout the rest of the head.

Pink 2010 Silver Hairstyle

Can you get your hair silver without using those fake cans of spray? Yes you can, but it takes time for the process. If your hair is a light shade you should have no problem, but a darker tone will take at least 2 treatments to strip out the dark color and get even coverage before you apply the silver. Even thought Avril's hair is a blonde shade, pink highlights can be achieved on brown, black and even red. You have a few ways in achieving this look. You can buy fake clip on human hair extensions in baby pink. Or buy cupcake pink hair dye or cotton candy pink. Make sure pink is the color you want first. To be more positive grab a piece of light pink chalk. Soak it in a bowl of water for five minutes. Then take the chalk and create highlights on the hair with it.
