Season 6 Bachelorette Finale Recap 2010: Who Did Ali Fedotowsky Choose?
Monday night's Bachelorette finale (August 2) was set in beautiful Bora Bora, Tahiti. The final two men, Roberto and Chris L., were each ready to meet the parents, and make their last, best effort to win Bachelorette Ali's heart. But who would Ali pick? (See photo of the newly-engaged couple here!)
On tonight's Bachelorette finale 2010 (August 2), Ali picked... Roberto! Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky spent an afternoon with each of the guys (separately) and her family in Bora Bora, enjoying good food, conversation and the water. Both men sought, and obtained, Ali's Dad's blessing to ask for her hand in marriage. Next, Ali was to spend one final date each with Roberto and Chris respectively.
During The Bachelorette finale (August 2), we saw Ali's final date with Roberto before the proposal ceremony. The two enjoyed time on a jet-ski, a beach-front picnic and a romantic evening in to cap off the day. Ali mused in her voiceover that she shouldn't spend the night, as she had to prepare for her final Bachelorette 2010 date with Chris L. the next day. "I just can't say goodbye to Roberto," Ali told viewers, and it was implied she decided to stay.
Heartbreak for One Bachelor in Bora Bora: Who Did Ali Choose?
The next day, Chris L. was eagerly anticipating his final date with Ali when Ali flipped the script. The Bachelorette 2010 ended up unexpectedly cutting Chris loose right then, as opposed to going on a fun-filled date with him and then denying his marriage proposal the next day. Bachelorette Ali visited Chris, and broke the news as gently as she could. She stammered through her emotions, explaining that though her feelings were "all over the place", she knew what she had to do. "I'm in love with someone else," Bachelorette Ali began, and Chris was crestfallen. Still, Chris L. lovingly embraced Ali, wiped away her tears and even wished her good luck with Roberto.
Next on the Aug. 2 Bachelorette finale tonight, Ali prepared for her proposal from Roberto, and was excited to tell him he was (by her choise) the only guy that would be proposing. When he heard that, Roberto broke out into a big grin and kissed Ali. As she stood with her long, blond hair flowing and an expensive-looking, golden-hued gown gracefully hugging her soft curves, Bachelorette 2010 Ali Fedotowsky received her fairy-tale marriage proposal, and joyfully accepted. The Season 6 Bachelorette finale (August 2) ran for two hours, and was followed by "The Bachelorette: After The Rose", where Roberto and Ali were able to re-connect in the public eye for the first time since becoming engaged. The two say they have already rented a West Coast apartment, and are in the process of moving in together and planning their wedding! Bachelorette Ali gushed they were considering either a Spring or Summer 2011 wedding.

Good job Ali - I picked Roberto the first night. He is an "awesome" man, good looking, athletic, romantic, succesful, playful, humorous.....not to mention that wonderful smile, twinkling gorgeous eyes and wonderful dimples. He is grounded, sincere and very affectionate. I wish the two of you all the best and believe that you will be a successful team.
CHRIS IS THE ONE I WOULD HAVE CHOSEN. I LIKE HIS FAMILY TOO. HE IS DOWN TO EARTH, ROMANTIC AND TRADITIONAL. HE SHOULD STEER CLEAR OF ANY TV ROMANCE AND FIND SOMEONE LIKE HIMSELF. HONEST AND TRUE AND FROM HIS HOME AREA. HE LOVES IT THERE AND NEEDS A WOMAN WHO LOVES IT TOO. I THINK ALI IS A TWIT. SHE JUST THINKS SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE WANTS. IT IS ALL A GAME TO HER. SHE WILL BREAK ROBERTO'S HEART EVENTUALLY WHEN ALL THE NEW AND EXCITEMENT WEARS OFF. ALL THAT FAKE CRYING. CRAP..CHRIS IS LUCKY SHE DIDN'T PICK HIM. HOWEVER I WISH THEM ALL THE BEST.
ALTHOUGH I HAVE TO SAY THAT I THINK ALI MADE THE WRONG DECISION IN PICKING ROBERTO,THEY BOTH SEEM TO BE ALIKE IN A LOT OF WAY'S AND THAT WORRIES ME, REMINDS ME OF HIGHSCHOOL LOVE. ALTHOUGH I WISH THEM THE BEST!! BUT CHRIS IS OF COURSE THE ONE I WOULD HAVE CHOSE, A LOT BETTER LOOKING THAN ROBERTO. IS JUST ALL MAN AND ONE OF THE MOST HONEST AND A TRUE HEARTED PERSON THAT I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG TIME ON THE BACHELOR/BACHELORETTE. I DON'T KNOW IF HE WOULD EVEN CONSIDER BEING THE NEXT BACHELOR IF HE WAS ASKED, BUT I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THIS HAPPEN, AND I DO BELIEVE THERE WOULD BE A GOOD CHANCE THAT HE WILL FIND HIS SOULMATE EITHER WAY. WOULD BE HARD BECAUSE ALI AND CHRIS WERE PERFECT FOR EACHOTHER. SORRY ALI BUT I AM SURE YOU MADE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE AND IF IT DOES NOT TURN OUT FOR YOU WITH ROBERTO I SURE WOULD NOT WALK BUT RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN TO SEE IF THERE IS A SECOND CHANCE FOR CHRIS!!
