On Saturday, March 27, 2010, Immanuel Presbyterian Church is having their Easter Egg Coloring & Hunt from 10:00 A.M-11:30 A.M. Along with coloring eggs and hunting for candy-filled eggs, children will be read a story and doing a craft. Children of all ages and their families are all welcome to participate. They ask each family to bring one dozen, hard boiled, white eggs. Any other donations necessary for this event are greatly appreciated also. On Saturday, March 27, 2010, the Dietz Neighborhood Association is having their annual community Easter Egg Hunt starting at 11:00 A.M. at Dietz Elementary School Playground which is located at 7575 E. Palma (north of Golf Links Road between Prudence & Pantano Roads). Prizes and refreshments are also given out. Any donations and help for this event is greatly appreciated and needed. They will also have a jumping castle there for the children to enjoy. Call: 520-296-5021 for more details.
Check your Neighborhood Association because as I researched this I saw that many had one last year, so they may possibly be having an Easter Egg Hunt this year too.
On March 28, 2010, which is also Palm Sunday, St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church is having an Easter Egg Hunt, which starts at 9:50 A.M. They prefer the children first meet in their Friendship Hall between 9:35 A.M.-9:45 A.M. and then they will be led onto the courtyard (northeast area of the premises) by an adult to start their big Easter egg hunt. It is for children ages preschool through third grade. A few dressed-up Easter characters will be there to delight the children, including an Easter Cow. The Church is located at: 7650 N. On Thursday, April 1, 2010, The Southern Arizona Telecom Pioneers are having their annual Beeping Easter Egg Hunt from 3:30 P.M.-6:00 P.M. On Saturday, April 3, 2010, Greater Faith Church will have their annual Easter Egg Hunt from 9:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. in Himmel Park. Himmel Park is located at 1000 N. Tucson Blvd. Along with hunting for Easter eggs, there will be games, and food for children of all ages. As you can see, many Churches are also having an Easter Egg Hunt. If you already belong to a Church, contact its office to inquire about them having an Easter Egg Hunt, or recommendations for Churches that may, or may not share your religious denomination. You can also call, or stop in any Church to ask if they are having an Easter Egg Hunt this year.
