2010 Elections: You Decide on the Questions Asked!

Jacqueline Winslow
As we grow closer to the November elections, polls grow closer, candidates get nervous, and voters vow to see you at the poll! Each candidate, as well as big dogs such as Bill Clinton, President Obama, and Nancy Pelosi are out trying to do magic. They need votes, and hope to pull in voters who did vote for them.

As we get closer to Election Day, I have to wonder if voters know which way they will vote. Yes, they possibly will go out to hear each candidate and political big dog, but at the end of the day, they've heard the cases. Then again, maybe one thing said could change the votes making each speech all the more important.

As an election grows closer, I usually know which candidate I am going to vote for. Yet I am big into politics, so I already know the candidates. For many Americans, hearing these last speeches could do wonders to help them decide how they will vote.

With the November election just six days away, let's check out what is going on around the country.

• Republicans could take control of the House and the Senate.

• In Washington State, Republican Dino Rossi grows closer to overtaking Democratic Sen. Patty Murray's lead in the most recent political polls, according to Fox News.

• Voting machine fraud claims are already beginning in Nevada, according to Watchdog.

• According to Fox News, President Obama is reaching out to black voters in hopes of swaying their votes.

• The Democrats aren't sitting back and accepting a complete loss. Their motto is "Divide and Conquer." Can they do it? You decide.

Politico reports that even though Democrats say the Republicans are outspending them in this 2012 election, the numbers tell a quite different story. Both parties have financial strength and intend to spend more money before Election Day.

• Democrats are hearing and seeing Republicans get excited over the possible takeover. Are the Republicans being cocky, as the Democrats might suggest? Or are the Republicans just rejoicing that their hard work has paid off? Either way, the voters just want to know where each candidate stands and what they will do for each American.

2010 Election: Top 10 Questions American Voters are asking:

• Why did the economy collapse? And what are you doing about it?

• Where are all the jobs Obama said he would bring?

• What are you doing about this foreclosure crisis?

• Can you get gas prices down?

• Why is the government spending more money in an economic crisis?

• When is Washington going to listen to the people?

• What can you do for small business owners?

• Can you please guarantee me that you will stop tax increases?

• Can you do something to stop illegal immigration?

• Is Obama a socialist? Yes or No?

• Are liberal Democrats trying to destroy the United States Constitution?

What questions are you asking this 2010 Election?
