Changes in Politics
One of the many reasons Republicans appear to be preparing for a landslide is the Tea Party supporters. Like them or not, they have revolutionized politics in Washington. They've gone against normal politics and said, "No!" to their own party. The GOP has struggled to figure out how to deal with these newbies. One thing is for sure: They can't make it without the Tea Party Supporters, so they might has well support them.
When a poll was done to see who Americans believed would do better at recovering the economy, the likely voters say that the Republicans will do better than the Democrats. They also think the Republicans will do better with the economy, jobs and the government.
Why are voters rising up? Just like they did in the last presidential election making sure their vote got counted? Why are people unhappy with the Democratic Controlled Congress?
My Top Reason the Tea Party Supporters Are Making a Difference!
Americans do not want the government in control of everything. People want to make their own way without the government telling them how to do it. We've created a great country without the government having its hand in every pot. Let's keep it that way.
America doesn't like slimy politics. Point in fact, the stimulus bill, the healthcare bill, the bank bailouts, the auto bailouts... need we go on? American voters want to know what is in each bill before the bill is passed. No more shady, behind-closed-door meetings where deals are made to get the bill passed. Americans want honest, clean politics from both the Democrats and Republicans.
Washington needs to stop spending America's money. Both the Republicans and Democrats need to stop spending and balance a budget. Why can't they take a lesson from Middle Americans who have to budget more now than ever before? If times are tough, stop spending so much money.
America does not like Obama's change. As a whole, in the last election, American voters wanted a drastic change. Or did they just love Obama? Either way, what they got was a whole lot more than they bargained for. The Polls suggest that Americans are no longer overjoyed with Obama, his changes, or his politics. To be truthful, they aren't really happy with Washington in general.
Americans are Alert! For years, American voters haven't been as vocal as they are now. With good reason: the economy is struggling to survive, foreclosures are at an all-time high, and poverty is increasing across the country. For these reasons, Americans are watching every move politicians make because their livelihood is at stake.
Politicians got Sloppy. Republicans and Democrats alike tend to get, elected then do what they want to do in Washington. Ahem! Not any longer. Americans are watching them and want to know that they are doing what they say they would do.This isn't to say that voters haven't always been watching politicians. We've just seen an increase of people being aware, watching, and listening. People care.
Tea Party Change Beats Out Obama Change. In an ABC News/Yahoo! Poll, an increasing number of voters believe that the Tea Party Movement can bring the change that Obama didn't bring. Or, he brought change, just not the change Americans wanted. Either way, President Obama brought his own agenda and didn't follow through with America's agenda. These polls show that, regardless of the voter being conservative or not. People are ready to do something drastic, only this time hundreds of thousands of people are not waiting in line to hear Obama speak. Quite the opposite is happening, which is why this particular poll is so staggering. Obama's change was ill-delivered.
States that are Vital to the 2010 Elections:
Every state is vital this election. Of course, a few key states are Florida, California, Nevada, Ohio, Illinois, and Pennsylvania. But the truth is that each of the 50 states have battles that will continue until Election Day. Many believe the Republicans are gaining ground and could have a landslide vote. No matter what happens on Election Day, what we see is Americans watching, listening, and making a difference with their vote.
