2010 Emmy Awards came out at the 2010 Creative Arts Emmy Awards. These 2010 Emmy Awards begin the Emmy process, with the first sets of awards going out to all winners that won't get to see the big stage on August 29. Called the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, categories like Best Guest Stats, Best Music Score, and Best Choreography are handed out there. This is the night where shows like So You Think You Can Dance can succeed, and the Fox reality competition show did just that.

Saturday night saw two wins for So You Think You Can Dance at the 2010 Creative Arts Emmy Awards. The first Emmy Award was for Outstanding Costumes for a Variety or Music Program, and it went to Soyon An (Costume Designer) and Graine O'Sullivan (Costumer Supervisor) for the So You Think You Can Dance Top 12 episode. This wasn't the only major win for the show though, as they would take home a second award a little later in the night.

The second 2010 Emmy Award for So You Think You Can Dance was for Outstanding Choreography, and the winner was Mia Michaels. She won her 2010 Emmy Award for two routines, which were Gravity and Addiction & Koop Island Blues & One. It was definitely another successful night for Mia Michaels at the Emmy's, as she has also won for choreography before. Her 2007 Emmy Award was for the routine Calling You, but she was also nominated two other times. Those nominations came in 2009 for her routine Mercy, and in 2003 for Outstanding Choreography on the television special Celine Dion: Opening Night Live Las Vegas.
