Rafael Nadal is considered the favorite to win the French Open due to his extremely successful career wins on clay. Last year he lost to Robin Soderling in the fourth round due to a knee injury so he has redemption in his eyes. Rafa also just beat Federer in the Madrid Masters this past week giving him the upper hand. And yes, odds to win can be used to place bets.

Are the odds purposed for gambling? Who determines the favorites? Just curious.
