The Denver beer festival first took place in 1982. It was created by Charlie Papazian and is held annually in Boulder, Colorado. Initially this beer festival featured 22 breweries. Over the years, it has grown to feature approximately 457 breweries in 2009 and offers as many as 2000 beers to sample. In addition to the numerous beer samples, there are a vast selection of snacks to wash down the all the great beers. This fun packed weekend has so much in store for beer lovers in attendance that you really will not want the festival to ever end. From free massages, the You be the Judge booth and Designated Driver Lounge, the fun is non-stop.
