2010 Hess Miniature Fire Truck in Stores

John Gugie
It's that time of year once again for the Hess miniature toy truck to be released.

For the past 45 years, Hess gas stations have been selling toy trucks. Adding to the tradition, Hess began releasing miniature trucks each year since 1998. Each has been a miniature version of a full-size toy truck from the past. This year's 2010 toy is a replica of the 2000 Hess fire truck, which is due out today, Friday, May 28th. Below are the features of this year's Hess toy.

- 14-wheel aerial ladder pumper tanker truck

- Working headlights, taillights and emergency lights

- bumper-to-bumper chrome accents

- side-mounted ladders

- top-mounted reel hose and piping

- heavy-duty 3-tiered telescoping ladder with 360 degree rotation

- attractive quick-release display base

The 2010 Hess Miniature Fire Truck goes on sale on Friday, May 28 at participating Hess and Hess Express retail stores for the price of $6.99 plus tax. As always, each toy includes Energizer batteries and supplies are limited.

Buy your 2010 Hess Miniature Fire Truck as soon as possible to ensure availability. While the full-size toys sell out within a few weeks, the miniatures are not quite as popular, so they are usually on store shelves for a few months. But, don't run the risk of them becoming sold out and buy yours ASAP!
