2010 Hot Chocolate NBA Eastern Divisional Playoff Hot Picks: Miami Heat (4) - Boston Celtics (3)

Alfonso Coley
This 2010 NBA Playoff year may be a time where the Miami Heat can defeat their most potent nemesis to move on to the next level of the playoffs. This series will ultimately depend on how well the Heat play as a team, and not place all of the burden on Dwayne Wade's shoulders, this is the only way that the Heat have a chance to move on to the next level in the playoffs.

As a matter of fact, this may be the Miami Heat last chance in a long time to appear in a playoff game, especially if Wade is traded to another divisional rival in 2010/2011.

The clock is surely ticking and winding down as the Heat know that it will be a hard fought battle to win the 1st round of the playoff series against a team that is still hungry for another NBA Championship.

The fact of the matter at hand is that these two teams do not like each other very much, and there has been a brewing rivalry that will make this series a special one indeed. Kevin Garnett will spare no punches and jabs in this series, and if the Heat plays "Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots" then they will have a chance to come away with a 1st round playoff victory, but they must contain Kevin Garnett from becoming a NBA scoring king.

My prediction is that the Miami Heat will win the playoff series by 1 game, the deciding factor will determine how many fouls are called in the last half of each game, especially if one of the key super star players draws too many flagrant penalties that may lead to a one or two game suspension.
