2010 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Concert Lineup

The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo is set to kick off on March 2, 2010 and wrap up on March 21st. Featuring nearly three weeks of nightly performances during the week and afternoon concerts on weekends, Rodeo Houston offers up plenty of entertainment options for rodeo goers. Highlights of this year's Rodeo Houston performances in Reliant Stadium include the Black Heritage Day concert by Mary J. Blige on March 5th, Salute to Our Troops Day with Rascal Flatts on March 10th, Go Tejano Day performances by Pesado & El Trono de Mexico on March 14th, and The Last Rodeo Tour of Brooks & Dunn on March 20th.

With this impressive lineup there is sure to be something to attract any music lover. Ticket prices begin at just $16 and are available through the Rodeo Houston website. Monday through Friday concerts begin at 6:45pm and weekend performances start at 3:45pm.

Of course the concerts are just a small part of all there is to enjoy about the annual Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. Included in the ticket price are admission to the livestock show in the adjacent Reliant Arena complex, daily professional rodeo action in Reliant Stadium before each concert, the large parking lot carnival, and access to many rodeo exhibitors featuring western themed merchandise.

Paid parking is available onsite at Reliant Park and Rodeo Express Shuttles will run from five Houston area locations for rodeo goers that do not wish to drive to the stadium. Shuttles from these sites run continuously beginning several hours before and ending several hours after the rodeo performances.
