2010 Interactive Oscar Ballots; Play Along with These Four Sites

Go Green for the Oscars! Eschew Paper Ballots in Favor of Interactive Ballots

Carly Hart
Want to go high-tech and green and make your Oscar picks while sitting at your computer? Here are four sites where you can play along at home by using an interactive Oscar ballot. They'll even score you and let you know how you did. Challenge your friends across the nation to an online competition to make Oscar night even more enjoyable.

New York Times

The New York Times has an interactive Oscar ballot that you can use here. Cast your 2010 Oscar ballot and join discussion groups to enhance your Oscars experience. You will need to log in if you belong to the site; if not, you must register. The New York Times will score your ballot in real time, beginning at 8:00 P.M., March 7, when the Oscars air on ABC.

Fox News

Fox News' interactive ballot allows you to make your Oscar picks, and then print out your ballot if you want a hard copy for Oscar night. One nice feature about this interactive Oscar ballot is the extra information provided as you make your picks. Click here to try out the Fox News interactive ballot.

BuzzSugar

The interactive Oscar ballot available at BuzzSugar is fantastic. First of all, you can make your picks easily and secondly, if you win the grand prize by scoring the highest, you can take home some limited edition Oscar-related items. If you aren't a member of the PopSugar network, you will need to join. If you are already a member, just log in and make your picks by 12:00 noon on March 7 and you are all set for the contest. Go here to make your picks at BuzzSugar.

Oscars.com

The official site of the Oscars is a perfect place to use an interactive ballot. If you signed up last year, can use your same log in (that is, if you remember it). If you are not registered, you will need to do so before using this feature. To complete your online picks at this site, click here. Other features of this site include daily trivia, the ability to join discussion groups, and Oscar-related tweets from Twitter. Oscars.com will score your ballot for you and you will be able to see how you ranked against other players.

If you still want to use paper ballots, try Five Free Printable Oscar Ballots for Oscar Night. Whether you choose to play along at home on paper or online, watching the Academy Awards is more fun when you are engaged in the process.
