2010: Making Your New Year's Resolution

Onemargaret
Well, looks like 2010 is coming, whether we like it or not.

I haven't made any New Year's resolutions but I'm sure thinking a lot.

I'm trying to shed a few pounds; maybe I could vow to lose weight.

Or I could step up my game and vow to be very selective in whom I date.

Making a New Year's resolution is supposed to be a promise to keep.

But, after several unsuccessful attempts, I tend to fall of the wagon in a heap.

Everyone wants and intends to be a better person in the New Year.

But, sometimes we tend to give up or become distracted, out of sheer worry or fear.

One thing I know for sure, I plan to be happy, healthy, and wise for 2010.

If I can keep that promise, I'm well on my way to making my life quite positive again.

Making your New Year's resolution, may be easier or harder than mine.

In any case, I want you to think carefully and try not to put yourself or others in a bind.

This year is the first year I've made resolutions in a decade or so. I'm remembering why I stop doing them.

I still don't want to think about 2010 resolutions. They make me want to panic. Good luck and best wishes for this year and always!

Good considerations. I stopped making resolutions several years ago. I'm horrible at keeping them.

Great fun work here. My New Year's Resolution is to help everyone with their resolutions - so I don't have to worry about my own! ; )
