2010 Miami Pro Bowl is Americas Game to Help the People of Haiti

It has been over 30 years since the Pro Bowl has appeared on American soil, what makes this Pro Bowl even more important this year - is what it will give back to the Haitian Nation. Indeed, America is a most generous nation; this is one of the reasons why this 2010 Pro Bowl will be one to remember for many years to come. This year's game will not have all of the star players due to the fact that it will be played one week prior to Super Bowl XLIV. The AFC Indianapolis Colts champions have seven players who will not attend the Pro Bowl due to the fact that they will play in Super Bowl XLIV. Also, the NFC New Orleans Saints champions will also have seven players who will not play in the Pro Bowl. It will not make that much different in this years Pro Bowl due to the great substitutions that will stand in for their respective key positions.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell idea to have the Pro Bowl in Miami Florida - now has become very popular with many NFL fans, especially due to the recent tragedy that happened in Haiti. No one can assume that this move to have the Pro Bowl played in Miami is not by some strange and unusual twist of terrible fate. Many Miami residents have supported commissioner Goodell's bold move to have the Pro Bowl played in Miami. Of course there will be some skeptics that will deny that it was a very bad decision to have the Pro Bowl played one week before the Super Bowl, but then again, this is what makes this Americas game, the decision to do something different and change the way that NFL fans view the game.

The earthquake that struck Haiti two weeks ago has awakened the Miami community to organize and donate money for other assistance programs to relieve the suffering that the Haitian people are undergoing. This years Pro Bowl may not be so much about if the AFC or the NFC will win, and what players will have a great and memorable game, it will more so be about the Haitian people who reside in Miami and how they can help their fellow country men. The Pro Bowl is America's game, it essentially has always been America's game, and it may be more important to enjoy this year's game in humble reserve as we pay respect to those men, women and children who have passed on - but whose souls will be forever remembered even though their buried bones may be somewhere in football heaven.
