As the November elections role around, we can be sure for a few surprises. Will these surprises be what the media suspects? That depends, as both sides are saying completely different things. Republicans feel that they are about to take back what's been lost. They are going to pick up enough seats to really make a difference.
The Democrats feel they are holding on to what is rightfully theirs. Let's look at the facts. Our country is in the worst failing economy since the Great Depression. You don't have to travel far to see the effects of a bad economy 2010.
Travel to Cape Coral Florida, a city that is one of the hardest hit cities of American. Once one a booming city with construction on every street; now is crippled by foreclosures and small businesses that are no more. This young city is made up of small business yet with a struggling economy, you won't see booming businesses in Cape Coral now. What you find are businesses struggling to stay afloat. Cape Coral is another city sinking in foreclosures.
Just like Cape Coral, Florida, every city in America has been affected in some extreme way by the economy. American voters are now struggling to put food on their tables; pay their bills; stay away from foreclosure; and most of all, just survive. It is these people which make up our wonderful country. The people of this great country are working with every fiber in their body to be successful in their home, their business, and their city.
It's time both Democrats and Republicans really see America for what it is. As we head into the last month before Midterm Elections, politicians of every kind are searching for the right words to pull voters in their corner. Politicians are nervous as they know this election could be the turning point in our country. It is a catalyst, if you will, for what is yet to come.
Americans want truth, honesty, and loyalty.
When the American voters go to the poles, they are thinking about their lives, their homes, their children, their friends. These voters are you and I, our neighbors, our friends, our coworkers, our plumbers, our bankers, our firemen, our policemen; American voters could be called the American dream. Without them, we wouldn't have this industrious nation.
Midterm elections mean big decisions for every American voter. All we have to do is turn on the television to hear broadcasters tell us which way is better; how they think we will vote; and even if our party has a chance to win. What do the media know? They've missed the mark many times before and this year probably will be no different.
American voters will vote what they believe to be true and what will help them. They want truth, honesty, and loyalty from the politicians. They want changes that will be good changes for this country. Better said, they want out economy to become a thriving economy. They want to finally be able to breathe again, and only then, will they feel the politicians have really done their job.
