2010 Movie Red is Full of "Old Fart Hollywood Movie Stars" Starring Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Richard Dreyfuss, Helen Mirren and Ernest Borgnine
Only with no hair on his head and less muscular body structure including body flab on his arms. "Willis needs to get his body in better shape for these modern day so-called action/adventure films!"
Even famous still-alive to date old fart and lovable "Michale's Navy star" (1964) 93 year old actor Ernest Borgnine plays a hilarious part in this 2010 dark but humorous film as the records keeper for so many years in the CIA department! (Hollywood film producers have finally made a movie that elderly people in a nursing home can thoroughly enjoy).
Dramatic and tries-to-be comical 56 year old actor John Malkovich looks awful in this film! His curly gray hair looks like he hasn't cut or brushed it in about six months or more and hasn't even taken a bath for weeks. Although this famous actor seems to be producing at least two films per year in this early 21st century days?
Leading film viewers to think about his Hollywood attitude? This is a childish film, why should I care? I will still get paid?" This is probably the worst film that this most incredible Academy Award nominated over-the-years actor has ever made. (Malkovich could have possibly given up his career and thinks only about the money regarding this film and other horrible recently produced films in the past ten years).
Still gorgeous well rounded fully-figured female 65 year old Academy Award actress Helen Mirren shows her dark comical talent as a retired professional "Hit-Man" shooting machine guns, hand guns, long-range scope rifles, and also explosive expert, who hilariously gets machine-gun shot at least 200 times during the film!
But ironically? receives a small gun-shot wound to her stomach in the end, but seems to miraculously recover within minutes of filming? These parts of the film were absolutely ridiculous, especially for me as a life-time fan of these older Hollywood stars!
Famous "Jaws movie star," 63 year old Hollywood actor Richard Dreyfuss also plays a some-what physical bad guy during this film. Comically showing him blinking his eyes while he was supposedly dead? Look for this part in the film closely! Especially if you are a long-time Dreyfuss fan since he played the part in the hit 1977 movie called "Close encounters of the third kind". Richard's gray GO-T- beard and healthy tanned face seems to fit him extraordinarily well while playing this 2010 character part in this film simply called "RED".
This "old fart" movie seems to continue on with the famous and also Academy Award winning 73 year old actor Morgan Freeman still living in a nursing home who almost gets shot from behind. "However he still has the ability to look in the mirror, miraculously turn around and kill these young professional bad guys!"
Meaning that as you get older? Your eye-sight gets better for some strange reason? Which makes this film look absolutely more ridiculous for modern paid theater viewers, especially young people, who are not aware of their famous careers.
It's obvious that this is a "FAST CASH" Hollywood film regarding these long-time over the years old fart award winning actors since the early 1960's, which seems to be running dry on their financial situations. "However? Should they take it out on their life-time fans?" Bruce Willis should seriously think about his up-coming future career, because of his age? He still has the facial image of a loving father and or on-screen bad guy at the same time for all theater viewers.
This particular comical film portrays Willis as having a manly phone voice as a smooth-talking expert to beautiful 45 year-old actress (monthly CIA pension plan employee) Mary-Louise Parker knowing that his past friends in the CIA are listening to his phone conversations, which ironically this 55 year old former CIA agent has been carefully been prepared for in the beginning of this film in his home where he has retired.
At the present time of this article. This C+ film is still in local theaters nationwide in the USA. Yahoo.com users are presently stating that this comical film has a A- review and the historical Hollywood critics are claiming a B+, which I completely disagree with entirely for the simple fact that the film editor and the director could have pieced this film together more properly for paid theater viewers. Most likely the director Robert Schwenthke and film editor Thom Noble "seemed to be asleep" during the final process production of this film.
Unfortunately, old fart Rocky's Sly Stallone came out with his 2010 film called the "EXPENDABLES" which was not any better for public paid theater viewing than this horrible film called "R.E.D.S " My advice is to wait for the DVD and make your very own judgment regarding these two 2010 films.
