Dame Helen Mirren had a tremendous year appearing in "Love Ranch", "The Debt", "The Tempest", "Brighton Rock", "Red" and gave voice to "Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole."

Dame Julie Andrews provided voice talent in both "Shrek Forever After" and "Despicable Me" and was the only charming thing about "The Tooth Fairy."

Jessica Alba appeared in 6 films; "Valentine's Day", "The Killer Inside Me", "Machete", "An Invisible Sign" and "Little Fockers."

Melissa Leo appeared in two indie films: "Welcome to the Rileys" and "The Dry Land", but also acted in the star-studded movies "The Fighter" and "Conviction." Ellen Page managed 4 films in 2010, with "Peacock", "Super" and "Inception", as well as narrating "Vanishing of the Bees."

Kristen Bell also performed in four films: "When in Rome", "Get Him to the Greek", "You Again" and "Burlesque." As did Kristen Stewart with "The Yellow Handkerchief", "The Runaways", "Welcome to the Rileys" and of course as Bella Swan in "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse."

Amanda Seyfried had a year of leads with 3 films: "Dear John", "Chloe" and "Letters to Juliet", and also appearing in "Boogie Woogie." Emily Blunt also rolled out 3 films with "The Wolfman", "Wild Target" and "Gulliver's Travels" as did Michelle Williams with "Shutter Island" and two acclaimed roles in "Blue Valentine" and "Meek's Cutoff."

Naomi Watts lived up to another year of acclaim, appearing in 3 films, "Mother and Child", "You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger" and as Valerie Plame in "Fair Game."

Helen Bonham Carter never ceases to impress, providing a deliciously evil Red Queen in "Alice in Wonderland" and also as Bellatrix Lestrange in the latest "Harry Potter" installment. Though her most acclaimed role came as Queen Elizabeth in "The King's Speech." Also appearing in "Alice in Wonderland" was Anne Hathaway, who appeared in "Valentine's Day" and "Love and Other Drugs."

Though, 2010 goes to the young starlet Chloe Moretz, who blew everyone away as Hit Girl in "Kick-Ass" and provided one of the stronger points of the vampire remake "Let Me In", additional to appearing in "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" and "Jack and the Beanstalk."

We are also obliged to tip our hats to Hailee Steinfeld's breakthrough performance as Mattie Ross in "True Grit".
