2010 MTV VMA's: Taylor Swift Will Perform Song About Kanye West; Don't Expect a Duet

Tonight's broadcast of the 2010 MTV VMA's will include a performance by Taylor Swift, winner of last years 'Best Female Video' award. The song is about none other than Kanye West and will be included on her "Speak Now" album due to be released in October. This ought to be good!

Swift has been mum about the 2009 incident in which West rushed the stage during her acceptance speech following her win for 'Best Female Video' and took the mic from her, but it sounds like she's ready to break her silence tonight.

Taylor Swift is known for her stinging songs about ex-boyfriends, and something tells me her song about Kanye will get her message across loud and clear.

The Incident:

After taking to the stage and grabbing the mic from Taylor Swift in 2009, Kanye said, "I'm sorry, but Beyonce' had one of the best videos of all time." Swift and Beyonce' were in shock.

Ironically, Beyonce' went on to win 'Video of the Year.' A gracious Beyonce' said a few words after receiving her award before giving Swift a moment to say something.

After last years MTV VMA's debacle, Kanye West disappeared from the public eye. When he resurfaced, he was full of apologies to Swift, even going so far recently as to go on a tweet-fest in order to apologize to her some more.

"I'm sorry Taylor," Kanye tweeted from his official Twitter account. "She had nothing to do with my issues with award shows. She had no idea what hit her. She's justa lil girl with dreams like the rest of us."

Gee, Kanye. You think?

Taylor Swift isn't the only one with a song. West wrote a song for her that he hopes she'll perform. In the event she refuses, and all indications are she will, he says he will perform it for her.

"I wrote a song for Taylor Swift that's so beautiful and I want her to have it," he said. "If she won't take it then I'll perfom it for her."

Taylor Swift has been nominated for 'Best Female Video' again this year. Will West keep his seat and his mouth shut this year? Will there be another stage rushing incident to claim another female performer was robbed and deserved the award?

Kanye West Not Banned from 2010 MTV VMA's:

Something on many minds is why MTV didn't put West on their banned list. He certainly belongs there with the likes of Andrew Dice Clay. For whatever reason, MTV decided to give Kanye another chance.

Following a meeting with MTV, West tweeted, "Just met with MTV and it's about to go down! VMA's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Kanye is up for nomination with Drake, Lil Wayne, and Eminem for 'Best Hip-Hop Video', "Forever". He will also be performing during this years show. It's unknown as of now what song he plans to perform, but given Taylor's plan to sing about Kanye, perhaps he will perform that song he wrote for her. You never know.
