2010 NCAA Baseball regional brackets are close to being released. The 2010 NCAA Baseball regional brackets will be announced live on ESPN this Monday, May 31st. This will be the first major step for the 64 teams trying to qualify for the 2010 College World Series later in June. The regionals will be split up into four team tournaments, where one team will advance from each region to play in the round of 16 teams. From there the field will be slimmed down to the final eight teams that get a chance to play in the 2010 College World Series. Will it be Arizona State that wins it all this year? Or could a team like Auburn or South Carolina pull a huge upset this year?

The 16 regional hosts were all announced on Sunday afternoon, revealing which of the 16 cities around the country will play host to four teams. The Pac-10 looks to have a number of teams in the 2010 Baseball Championships, and with two highly seeded teams, it could be another year of Pac-10 success by the end of June. Some of the notable regional hosts include Tempe (Arizona State), Gainesville (Florida), Austin (Texas), and Los Angeles (UCLS). The top 16 teams from around the country will play host to the regional slots, but the rest of the field won't be announced until Monday afternoon. Tune in to ESPN at 9:30 a.m. PST (12:30 p.m. EST) if you want to be one of the first to learn which 64 schools make the brackets.

I truly Wichita State is one of the top 64 teams in the nation, to leave them out of tourney is a disgrace!
