2010 NCAA Baseball Regionals Have Hosts Now!

Ryan Christopher DeVault
The 2010 NCAA Baseball Regionals have cities to play in now. The NCAA announced the host cities for 2010 Baseball Regionals will be played in preparation for the 2010 College World Series. Each regional city will have four schools play there in the first round of the baseball championships, with one team advancing through a double elimination format in each city. The host cities typically end up getting home field advantage in how the regional brackets play out, and that is exactly how it will be for at least the top eight seeds in the 2010 baseball playoffs. At the top of the list is of course the No. 1 seed in the 2010 NCAA Tournament, which is the Arizona State Sun Devils.

Arizona State will get to host one of the 2010 NCAA Baseball Regionals in Tempe, Arizona, with their opponents set to be named later on Monday. The NCAA made all of the city announcements on Sunday, May 30th, allowing 16 teams to know that they will be hosting the first round of the 2010 NCAA Baseball Playoffs. The rest of the field won't know if they have made it into the tournament until the official bracket announcement that will be made at 9:30 a.m. PST on ESPN, Monday, May 31st. Tune in if you want to find out if your school has made it into the brackets that will help decide which eight teams are going to play for the 2010 College Baseball World Series.
