University of Dayton Arena in Dayton, Ohio. The 13,435 seat arena, home to the UD Flyers, has hosted the opening round since 2001. The School will host first- and second-round games of the 2013 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament as well as the opening-round game of the 2011, 2012 and 2013 tournaments. Dayton or "Gem City" is a fairly small city home to two universities (UD and Wright State University.
First and Second Rounds: Thursday and Saturday, March 18 and 20, 2010
New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana. A short walk (about 22 minute walk) away from Bourbon Street, and directly across from the Superdome, attached via a bridge. Opening round will play here on Thursday March 18, 2010 for Division 1 NCAA Men's Basketball hosted by Tulane University. The Arena has only been in NOLA for 10 years. At 13,090 square feet it fits up to 18,000 fans and is the home of the New Orleans hornets. Beer is sold at most concession stands, and tailgating is no allowed in the parking lot.
Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island. Located in the capital and largest city of the smallest state in the U.S. the Dunkin Donuts center, home to the Providence Bruins, was renovated in 2005. Located in downtown Providence, a college city, (home to Providence College,RISD , Brown University, Johnson and Wales University) has many budget options to stay in within walking distance of the center. The fanciest hotel, The Providence Biltmore is about as fancy as it gets in this small city. For cheaper stays there is the Courtyard by Marriott and or the Hampton Inn and Suites. The second round will be played here on Saturday March 20, 2010 hosted by the Big East Conference/Providence College.
HP Pavillion in San Jose, California. Hosted by San Jose University the arena seats 18,500 people. San Jose aka "Silicon Valley" is located in Northern California and is the third largest city in California. The weather is much nicer than SanFranscico with less rain and fog. Tailgating in the HP Pavilion at San Jose parking lots is prohibited per San Jose City Ordinance. Violators will be cited and fined for having an open BBQ flame or open container of alcohol.
Ford Center in Oklahoma City, OK hosted by the Big 12 Conference. Home to the Oklahoma City Thunder, the arena is located downtown directly across from the Cox Convention Center. The basketball stadium seats 18,203 people. Oklahoma City is the capital and largest city in the state with mild temperature in March ranging from a low of 39 degrees F to a high of 63 degrees F, althoughtornadoes are very likely in March.

East Regional
At the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, New York, hosted by Syracuse University. This is an enormous 49,250-seat domed stadium on the college campus, and where the Syracuse Orange team plays. The Carrier Dome is the largest domed stadium of any college campus and the largest domed stadium in the Northeastern United States. Syracuse is located a bit over 4 hours from Manhattan in upstate New York.
West Regional
Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah, hosted by the University of Utah. The capital and largest city of Utah. Home to the 2002 Winter Olympics and NBA team the Utah Jazz.

Midwest Regional
Edward Jones Domes in St. Louis, Missouri. Hosted by the Missouri Valley Conference, the dome is the home to the St. Louis Rams and hosted the 2005 NCAA® Men's Final Four.
South Regional
Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas hosted by University of Houston/Rice University. Tickets are ONLY available online at www.ncaa.com/mbbtickets.
Final Four: April 3 and 5, 2010
Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN, hosted by Butler University/Horizon League. Home to the Indianapolis Colts Lucas Oil Stadium is a seven-level facility that seats to 70,000 for basketball.
