Let's start my predictions on offense for the 2010 NFL Pro Bowl Vote with the NFC.
At quarterback for my 2010 NFC Pro Bowl team? Drew Brees(New Orleans) will be the starter and Brett Favre(Minnesota) will be the backup. The NFL has already announced that Brees finishes second in the popular vote to Peyton Manning. Any other selections for the 2010 NFL Pro Bowl Roster would be a complete shocker. Brees has led his team to 13 of 14 wins and has the best quarterback rating in the entire NFL this season. With the exception of several games late in the year Brett Favre has been fantastic. Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers will most certainly be third barring a complete late collapse by Favre.
Who will get my vote at running back for the 2010 NFL Pro Bowl roster? Adrian Peterson(Minnesota) is a lock to win the popular vote for the 2010 NFL Pro Bowl roster. Even though Steven Jackson(St. Louis) has more yardage at this point in the season it'll still be Peterson getting the starting nod at running back for the NFC Pro Bowl roster because of what he's accomplished the past several seasons.
Who gets the vote for the NFC Pro Bowl receivers? Sidney Rice(Minnesota), Miles Austin(Dallas) and DeSean Jackson(Philadelphia) should be on the 2010 NFC Pro Bowl Roster. Rice and Austin have emerged after being relative unknowns coming into the season. Both deserve a vote for the 2010 NFL Pro Bowl Roster. There's a chance a Larry Fitzgerald can slip in with the popular vote considering what he did last year.
At tight end? Dallas stud Jason Witten should get the vote even though the 49'ers Vernon Davis has better stats. Both should be on the NFC Pro Bowl roster.
Who are the AFC Pro Bowl starters?
Peyton Manning is an absolute no brainer to start at quarterback. Not only are the Colts undefeated but Peyton is putting up and incredible year. Does anyone even need to vote for this position at all? Peyton Manning by the way did receive the most popular votes overall edging out Drew Brees with over 1.5 million votes.
Philip Rivers of San Diego might slip ahead of Tom Brady and get the backup position. It would be well deserved considering Rivers has the best passer rating in the entire AFC and the Chargers are playoff bound. Brady might still be the backup anyway considering his reputation.
Who is the AFC starting running back for the 2010 Pro Bowl roster? Chris Johnson of Tennessee is a lock. Johnson is almost 500 yards ahead of 2nd place Maurice Jones-Drew(Jacksonville) in the total yardage race. Johnson might also eclipse 2000 total yards if he continues on pace for the final two games. Jones-Drew should also be on the Pro Bowl roster after exploding for over 1200 yards and 15 touchdowns. Who might deserve it and be left off the 2010 Pro Bowl Roster? Ray Rice of Baltimore is second to Johnson is yards per carry at 5.4.
The receivers on the 2010 AFC Pro Bowl roster? My predictions have Andre Johnson(Houston), Reggie Wayne(Indianapolis), Wes Welker(New England) and Randy Moss(New England) as the top four. Santonio Holmes(Pittsburgh) and Vincent Jackson(San Diego) are right after that on the Pro Bowl roster. Welker has a mind blowing 109 catches with 2 games remaining so he gets the vote over Jackson and Holmes in my opinion.
Tight ends for the AFC Pro Bowl team? Antonio Gates(San Diego) and Dallas Clark(Indianapolis) should get the vote for the AFC Pro Bowl vote.
Where and when is the 2010 NFL Pro Bowl taking place? The 2010 NFL Pro Bowl takes place at Dolphin Stadium in South Florida on January 31st at 7:30 EST/6:30 CST.
The 2010 NFL Pro Bowl selection show takes place on Tuesday, December 29th at 4pm EST/3pm CST on the NFL Network.

Post a CommentI think Chris Johnson sucks because his team. my favorite running back is ray rice because no one can stop him except the pittsburg steelers defense
Adrain Peterson is a beast he just plows everybody over. Also I think Peterson is better than Chris Johnson.
Its 2010 season not 2009 season anymore.
i met Larry Fitzgerald in France and he deserves the chance to even be a MVP
I think micel vick should be a shame of himself
i think Steve Smith should have made it!!
witten sucked this year so i like vernon davis is way better go Giants
Actually Chris Johnson needs 128 more yards to get 2,000 yards not that i dont like him cause i have 2 of his rookie cards but get your facts straight Clark.
I like the fact that Miles Austin made the pro bowl even though i am a giants fan but i think steve smith for the giants should have made it.
Chris Johnson already has well over 2,000 total yards going into the last game...
