2010 Off-Season Beach Vacation Deals

Shirley Norling
The holidays are almost over, so now may be the time to start thinking about that warm weather vacation, especially if you're one of the "lucky" ones who recently got dumped on with snow, snow and more snow, like we did. There are many good off-season beach vacation deals out there right now, so let's start looking for those cheap 2010 beach vacations. Here are some I found that I thought were very good deals.

1. Best Western Beachfront Resort, St. Pete Beach, Florida. This resort has rates starting at $74 a night for a room with a tropical garden & fountain view. Free upgrades are also available at this resort hotel located on the shores of St. Pete Beach. It's minutes away from Tropicana Field, Busch Gardens, Golf of Mexico, golfing, shopping etc. Hotel amenities include a swimming pool, restaurants, fitness facility, poolside bar and nightclub. Professional sports and other Tampa attractions are within a 30-minute drive.

2. Ocean Reef Resort, Myrtle Beach. This beautiful condominium resort offers the best in accommodations, amenities and activities. They have one bedroom condos starting at $49 per night for weekdays and $59 on weekends. Golf packages are available for the golfer and the world famous Grand Strand Golf is just minutes away.

3.Villa Del Arco, Cabo San Lucas. This all suites resort is set on the safe to swim El Medano Beach and within walking distance from downtown Cabo San Lucas. Rates start at $136.79 per night, which is a 50 percent savings off the regular rate for some dates, when booked through Orbitz Travel. This is a very good deal if you're looking for a nice upscale beach resort vacation. I would highly recommend this one.

4. Newport Beachside Resort, Miami. This family resort located on North Miami Beach has a nautical theme. It is less then 4 miles from Bel Harbour shops, 6 miles from the Aventura Mall, and within 10 miles of the famous Art Deco District. This family friendly, smoke-free resort has an outdoor pool, spa tub, two game arcades, shops and restaurants. The one- and two-bedroom villas have dining areas, wet bars, microwaves, refrigerators, etc. Expedia Travel has a special rate for this property starting at only $99 per night and 40 percent off stays of four or more nights.

5. Riveria Maya Resort, Mexico.MLT Vacations has rates for a seven-day all inclusive vacation including airfare from Minneapolis starting at $992 per person. Ocean Maya is a bungalow style beachfront resort located in the heart of the Mexican Caribbean and Ocean Coral Turquesa is tucked away amidst the village of Puerto Morelos only minutes from Cancun and the airport. Both of these proprieties on the Mexican Riveria are available through MLT vacations. This is a vacation that includes everything from the time you get on your plane until you get off.

Hopefully one of these vacations is just what your looking for in 2010 and will meet your budget requirements.

The beach would be a perfect place to be right now even if it's only in the 60's. It would still be a lot warmer than Loveland, CO was today. We had 25 degrees after an overnight low of -11.
