Super Saver will attempt to claim the second leg of horse racing's coveted Triple Crown in the 1 3/16-mile Preakness on Saturday, May 15 at Pimlico in Baltimore. Post time is 6:15 p.m. Eastern time.
Super Saver, ridden by Calvin Borel, will start from the No. 8 post in the 12-horse field.
Borel will seek his second consecutive Preakness victory after riding filly Rachel Alexandra to victory from the No. 13 post in the 2009 Preakness. After winning the 2010 Kentucky Derby by 2.5 lenghths, Borel declared that Super Saver would win the Triple Crown, a feat that hasn't been accomplished since 1978.
Lookin At Lucky is the second favorite for the 2010 Preakness at 3-1. Here is the complete field list:
